The blending of pre war hill country and delta blues with traditional celtic and early Australian folk has produced a truly unique musical style that’s seen audiences world wide drift off into the early morning, often drenched with sweat and always covered in smiles. One of Australia’s festival favourites, and perennial showstopper; Hat Fitz is now joined on stage by Northern Ireland’s critically acclaimed vocalist extraordinaire and multi instrumentalist Cara Robinson on drums, washboard, flute and tin whistle. They met 4 years ago in Ireland and fell in love – Fitzy brought Cara back to Australia to have her on his mantelpiece (as he puts it). The combination of these two firebrands has seen an act that is a world-beater both musically and visually. Recent performances overseas saw the duo play a total of 81 shows including some of the world’s most prestigious festivals across England, Ireland, France and Scotland to packed houses and rave reviews. And they’re off to Europe again later this month! Don't miss out on this excellent show.

Now in its fourth year, La Fiera will continue to delight, entertain and amaze visitors by portraying many aspects of Italian culture.
New in 2012 will be a performance of a great Italian play called "Emma Celebrazione", an evening of Italian operatic arias and a cinematic tribute to Sophia Loren. Food and wine will play an important role too starting with the Food & Wine Festa on the Saturday, and a whole day of feasting on the Sunday. Truly, "A Weekend of Fun - the Italian Way!"
