Ride four of the seven classic climbs, get your 7 Peaks Alpine Ascent Challenge boarding pass stamped and you will be eligible to enter to win a 1-week trip for two to the 2012 Tour de France, guided by Aussie cycling legend Phil Anderson. 

Prizes will also be awarded to those two ride 1, 2, 3 or all 7 of the peaks!

Simply choose your climb, complete the ride and validate your efforts with a stamp. Return your boarding pass and you will go into the draw for each peak completed. Plus the major prize draw if you complete four or more climbs.

Take the challenge a step further with the 7 Peaks iPhone app. Monintor your climb and compete against other riders on the individual resort leader boards. More fantastic prizes will be up for grabs for the fastest riders.

This poster display will feature John Bright, a famous Orator in the British Parliament in the mid nineteenth century who is best known for his support for removing the anti-competitive Corn Laws which favoured the ealthy British land holders, who were mainly members of the aristocracy. The posters review major aspects of John Bright’s career and comment on the lack of relevance to the naming of a Gold Mining settlement in NE Victoria.

Come and enjoy the Mount Beauty Community Market day on the first Saturday of each month from 9am - 2pm. First originating in 1979, the Mount Beauty Community market features a variety of home-grown fresh produce, new and used goods, household items, craft stalls, sausage sizzle and much more!

Come and join in with the locals and have a relaxing wander around all the stalls. Lots of local eateries join in with fine fare as well. A very relaxed, safe and fun time to be had for tourists, families and locals alike.

This market has around 25 stalls selling local produce and home made goodies, crafts and trash and treasure.

The Kiewa Valley Historical Society Inc's exhibition 'Huts of the High Plains' features cattle farmers from the Upper Kiewa Valley who first built and used huts on the Bogong High Plains from the 1880s. Many of these families have donated or lent items from their personal collections which show how these families lived in the huts during muster time.

The market will run every Saturday from early December until late May, a run of 26 weekly markets. The Producers sell local and regional seasonal plan produce - garden vegetables, fresh fruit, grapes, olives, freshly harvested from the farm and gardens.

Plenty of preserves to keep you happy with jams, chutneys, sauces alongside yummy baked goods including cakes, slices, fresh maked muffins hot from the oven.
