- Dederang is a small township nestled in the beautiful Kiewa Valley approximately 36km north of Mount Beauty and 50km south of Wodonga
- Famous for the annual Dederang Picnic Races held on the first Saturday of every year. The annual race meeting swells the small population to well over 6000.  A great family fun day at the country races with activities and entertainment for the kids, live music, a market and much more
- Dederang boasts its own iconic country pub, police station, general store (with petrol!), as well as a myriad of sporting facilities to please everyone, bordered by beautiful rolling hills of eucalypt
- The Dederang recreational reserve is the hub of activity. Sporting wise they play cricket in summer and footy in winter if you want to go along and watch. Or there are BBQ's, seating and lots of room for children to run and play or for a picnic. 
- For golfing enthusitists take the time to enjoy a round at the Dederang country golf course.
