- Ovens and the Happy Valley turn off is located 6km from Myrtleford on the Great Alpine Road towards Bright.
- A popular stop-over for travellers for almost 150 years, Ovens still boasts its landmark hotel of 1854, a great base for cyclist enthusiasts or for families traveling along the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail.
- A little further along Happy Valley you will find a selection of the region’s great bed and breakfast accommodation, a lavender farm (open by appointment), an olive grove and wineries.
- Enjoy a scenic flight around the magestic Great Alpine Valleys with a pilot who has more than 30 years experience.  See some of the most beautiful views of the mountains, the lush valleys, the colourful countryside. You can fly over townships of Bright, Ovens, Wandiligong, Harrietville, Falls Creek, Hotham Heights, Mount Beauty, or the Bogong High Plains. The fabulous views are something to behold.
